I was born in Fairbanks, Alaska but raised in Anchorage. Even after leaving the state to enjoy the adventures the U.S. Army could supply; I always knew I would eventually return home to Alaska. I have been in the medical field for my entire adult life and I cherish the time I have spent both as a Combat Medic in the Army and Nursing/Management in the civilian community. When I came back to civilian life, I found that I deeply missed the comradery of my brothers and sisters in arms. Although that is something that will stay with me forever, I was very pleased to have found something similar here within the Summit Oral Surgery family. Even though I am a disabled veteran, that came to them fresh out of the service, with a Service dog at my side, they wholeheartedly accepted me and welcomed me in. I would not want to pursue my calling in the medical field anywhere other than right here.
I was born and raised in the Midwest. I moved to Alaska in 2000 and made the Matanuska Susitna Valley my home in 2015. My kids, animals and my spring garden fill my time when I’m not at work. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love working with the public and look forward to seeing you at Summit Oral Surgery!
I was born in Palmer, Alaska and have lived most of my life right here in the Mat-Su Valley. After spending my high school years in warmer weather, I realized nothing could compare to the beauty of Alaska! Even with the long, cold, dark winters and scary earthquakes, it’s worth every bit of it. I love to spend my personal time exploring our beautiful state in any way I can with my wonderful husband and two rambunctious pups. I have worked in the medical field for over 10 years and have a variety of experience in medical office and mental health administration as well as medical and dental insurance billing. I strive for all of our patients to feel welcome, get the care they need, assist with billing their insurance to cover costs and ensure the patient owes as little out of pocket cost as possible. My time here at Summit Oral Surgery started in February of 2017 and since that time I have had the privilege to work with some amazing people. We are as close as family here at Summit, we have a relaxed yet professional environment, and I wouldn’t want to work for anyone else.
I was born at Elmendorf AFB hospital (JBER) in Anchorage, Alaska and grew up in the Mat-Su Valley where my family has been living since the early 1950’s. I’ve always known this community is the place I wanted to spend my life. I am a mother of two highly entertaining intelligent teenagers, and 3 four-legged heathens. We enjoy spending time with our very large family, cooking, camping, hiking and riding 4-wheelers. Joining the Summit Family is the chance to continue working in the medical field while learning a new things. Contributing to this community and people’s lives is an important goal to me, my Summit family helps me accomplish this!
Lead Registered Nurse
My experience stretches over 42 years including hospitals, pain clinics, and elderly care. In 2012, Summit Oral Surgery was the next step in my career as their pre and post-op nurse. I feel blessed to work with such a wonderful team of professionals all the way from the front desk to the operating room!
Lead Oral Surgery Technician
I was born and raised in the melting pot, and warm desert sun of Phoenix, Arizona. Enjoying weekends fishing, camping, or swimming at the lake with my family and friends. At an early age I was given the opportunity to work near the dental field as a circulation department assistant for a dental magazine which is where I discovered what I wanted to pursue as a career, become a dental assistant! Soon after realizing my interest in the dental field, I signed up for the best Dental Assisting college in the valley right after graduating from high school. I started out in general dentistry then branched out to specialties such as orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. As of recent in July of 2018 my husband and I made the big move and ventured out to Wasilla, AK with our family where we would raise our three young boys, and teenage daughter. We look forward to all of the adventures that Alaska has to offer including hunting, fishing, snow machining, and riding our quads around with the kiddos and our two Golden Retrievers. This has become “home” to us and so has Summit Oral Surgery for myself. I absolutely love and adore my Summit family, what they have to offer, and their genuine hearts. I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of a private practice that truly treats their patients with the upmost quality care and respect. I can genuinely say we have found our happy place all around!
Oral Surgery Assistant
I was born in Boise, ID and raised in Buhl, ID. At a very young age, I knew I wanted to serve the community as a Dental Assistant. My aunt was a Dental Assistant which enable me to strive to be one as well. I finished schooling in 2008 and practiced for a little over a year in Boise,ID. I then moved on to do other opportunities such as working in memory care where I meet many fascinating people. I held many different position in several different career fields. Alaska has always held a mesmerizing appearance that drew my attention. We had the opportunity to move here during our military service and have loved it everyday. Since coming to Alaska, I decided to re-enter the dental field and found my place, a place I could call home away from home at Summit.
